Hi guys, I've got a bit of a strange problem, when I got my gti the battery kept dyeing every other day, when I jump started the car it was fine again, then I realised that the dash lights etc were very dim until I revved the car to 3k, suddenly everything brightened up and it the car stopped dying.... And its been fine since just because I revv the car to 3k every time I start it now, so would this be a new alternator I need? Thanks
