After watching lots of cop programmes
On tv I've come the conclusion that anytime of numberplate which isn't oem isn't allowed and depending on the copper you get will prob depend on whether u get a ticket or warning?

I've seen some pressed plates which say legal bit still  :undecided: however I would like some
Myself

some coppers just don't know the law themselves and group legal pressed plates with the german versions. As long as they conform to what the DVLA want there shouldn't be a problem

Can you run a white rear plate? No

Can you run a german plate? No

Can you run pressed plates? Yes, but only if the company you buy them from request to see documents from you and the plates are stamped with the BS code and the manufacturers postcode.

Got my plates from Dubmeister.co.uk through regal tuning. Fully legal apart from them not being manufacturer standard. Had them on for 3 years and not had one issue!

Aslong as they:
Correct size/spacing
Manufacturer postcode
Correct Colour
Reflective

should be fine as the police only pull you if:
A) your being a knob and they need a reason to pull you
or
B) the plate reading camera cant pick up the letters due to not conforming to legal requirements.
No SmOkE nO pOkE....
