boneybradley's Passat 1.8t B5 Black n Cream
« on: 03 April 2011, 17:47 »
Well I have finally bought another Passat and found this one during my searches, It's a 1.8turbo SE with alloys, full leather and wood! I paid £700 so think I got a decent deal?

The only faults I can see is it will need a suspension arm for it's next MOT, the glove box handle is broken and it blows from an exhaust join.....oh and the oil light has flashed twice!!

Done so far :0  :hyst  all donated from my old passat  :D
Smoked front indicators, smoked side repeaters, carpet mats & aero wipers

Plans
a proper day cleaning (the leather is dirty but very good otherwise), new rims?, lower suspension (It does feel like a typical se!) & I'm going to clean the oil sump as the service history doesn't state this has being done

Comments, idea's welcomed

If you decide you dont like the wood trim then I still have my original stuff.

(I changed mine to wood)

I think it suits the wood (only because the sterring wheel matches though!) and I agree with the colour (back to lc9z). It really does need a very good clean and a service (the oil dosen't look too fresh and I feel it needs a good good flush).

I was hoping my other Passat would give loads of parts (well the brakes and suspension arms are the same and all replaced under 10000 miles ago)

Looks alright apart from that wood

With regards to your oil light, whip the sump off and clean out the pickup.  1.8T's are notorious for that getting blocked
