47.3mph overall.  Its lower in the really cold, although now its 6-9 degrees out I have seen it creep back to over 50 now.

Motorway 55-58 pushing on!!

I was thinkinhg about this today. My current TDI averages 57 mpg. Good car but I miss the fun factor.

I was wondering what an extra 65 horsies under the bonnet would do to my mpg.

Looks like the GTD will have excellent smiles per gallon for hot hatch performace in the mid range.

Mid 50s on long motorway trips in the summer months with cruise on, but dropping to high 40s in the cold weather.

So based on a 55 litre/12.1 gallon tank that's a real-world 45-57mpg. Not bad, especially as I'm getting 28-33
