This is the latest info I have, I think it came from RossTech

1K0-937-084 (Basic - Supports NO Fogs or Xenons)
1K0-937-085 (Low - Supports NO Fogs or Xenons)
1K0-937-086 (Medium - Supports Fogs but NO Xenons)
1K0-937-087 (High - Supports Fogs and/or Xenons)

Although it says 084 doesn't support Fogs, not sure whether that is front or back.

Thanks!
Probably front because my car didn't come with front fogs.

What difference do the letters make after the part number?

This is where things get a bit more complicated as it seems to depend on what options are fitted to the car.

This is where my knowledge runs out and I relied on SteveP to get the part number for the BCM I needed.

From what I can see you need 1K0 937 087 R XXX

The XXX is the bit I don't know and depends on the options, could be ZOB, ZOC, ZOD, ZOE etc..

Mine was ZOK..

Did you not say your part no. was 1K0 937 087 E ?

Why do u reckon mine would be R?
Hope SteveP could maybe help me out on this then. I have no PM yet unfortunately.

Mine was a 2010 car, from your number it looks like a 2011 car so the revision number cross references on ETKA to R

You should be able to PM now you have more than 10 posts

I was just wondering - was just looking at this kit:
http://www.carsystems.pl/xenon-dynamic-headlights-with-drl-golf-6-r20-5k941753e-5k1941754,id298.html

And it kinda made me wonder - I thought there was some kind of EU requirement that if you have Xenons they need to be kept properly free of dirt and so it's necessary to have an ability to clean them - i.e. with the headlight washers.

If I don't have the winter pack/headlight washers, would it likely fail an MOT does anyone know (when it becomes due!)?

Does anyone know the correct coding for clearing main beam left/right bulb out warnings on dash?

This is for retro fitted xenons which where orginally halogen headlights.

I changed byte 17 bit 2 which is (xenons fitted high beam not active) and this clears the codes but high beams dont work.

Read else where that using the bit editor in vcds can change byte 17 but need some info as i cant find the bit editor on vcds?

any help would be much appreciated
