Fair enough.
Golf MK3 1.8 auto and I didn't pay a grand for the "priveledge", auto windows all round and a AC. Oh and I've got a luggage net you pricks!

Does that make my willy look bigger?

Oh yeah it's called Helda or something....

Here are the subframes bolted together back to back:

Photo of the two different O/S mounts:

Photo  showing what I cut off the subframe:

Car-on-ramp type shot:

Steering wheel is straight when the car's going down the road.  To do this we lined up the wheel, bar-clamped a piece of box from the wheel out of the window and then set the tracking by eye, as well as we could, dropped it on the floor, eye-balled it again and then locked things off.  It's not precise, but it's a heck of a lot closer than it was!
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Rubbish photo of it with the skanky 5-spokers I had lying around on it.

It also shows how disasterously low it is.  It's definitely NOT -40mm kit!

Oh and I changed a tail-light bulb, so I now have a pair of brake lights, as well as tail-lights - important mod.

Oh and apparently the wife picked up the front number plate somewhere on the roads around where we're living at the moment.

No they're 15's with 195 50's on and I have to say they have grown on me. THey certainly look better on the Rado than they did on the Polo.

That damn plate just doesn't want to stay on. They were brand new sticky pads last Sunday!

It's all that f*cking wax!

I had exactly the same problem when I had a new BINI Cooper a few years back - after only a couple of weeks, the rear plate just slid off, as some muppet hadn't removed the original protective wax coat prior to sticking the plate on.

Velcro FTW, I say.

There's something about those rims - at first sight they look minging, but then they do something and just seem to work after a while....

Your rim idea via PM sounds good though. Even you can't drive round in a Corrado with Seat logos on the wheels

Mic is out and ready for the postie tomorrow.
