Dim-dip resistor is usually up under the drivers side wing and connected via two yellow wires - just undo the yellow connector and job done.

Yup. :)

This dayglo won't happen with HID's FYI :).
Golf MK3 1.8 auto and I didn't pay a grand for the "priveledge", auto windows all round and a AC. Oh and I've got a luggage net you pricks!

Does that make my willy look bigger?

Oh yeah it's called Helda or something....

Perfect, thats exactly what I was looking for!

Do I need to remove the cowling under the wing or is it just a case of looking in from the engine bay?

Many thanks!

Found it! Result... Disconnected and got some pictures for others too.
Looks awsome and gives a more agressive look to the front of the car (although it does look slightly boss-eyed though!).

Location of the plug on the drivers side...

The resistor itself

The result with the engine running.

Hope these are of help to somebody.

Thanks for that mate! Just nipped outside and unplugged mine

I used to like this 'dayglo' thing, but when I fitted HID's, there wasn't enough voltage going to the bulbs so they just flickered and went out!

Now I've got sidelights woohoo
