Ordered my GTI 3 weeks ago, and just found out today that it's now got a build week (dealer didn't say what it was) and he expects I'll get it around mid-December!!!

After reading and seeing pictures from those that have already got their, I'm gutted! It'd better be worth the wait!  cool

Welcome.  Don't worry, visiting this forum on a regular basis just to look at other peeps GTI's will make the time pass really quickly.

It's a great car and you'll abso love it when you collect.

Ordered: 31/7/09   Build Week/Arriving: Took 3 months to register as scheduled 2010 Week 2. Cancelled: 29/11/09

Bought a BMW 335d- now rejected..

Now Happy Owner of a mint '58' mkV R32 DSG Metallic Grey with Leather. Soon to have nav, fiscon, parks, and maybe a rear view camera...

I reckon you need to contact your stealer, I'm sure you should have a build week by now.  I ordered mine 23rd May and had a build week by second week in June.  Collected 29th July and haven't looked back.

A 3-month wait is parr for the course. I waited 3.5
