i took most of the above today.

its running really well except its letting water in somewhere!

bit of rust on the rear of the drivers rear window and i thought it was that, then today i cleaned it inside and when i opened the sunroof i found the little wind deflector flap has some fresh rust on it so it looks like its the sunroof seal i think. seeing as how the car had been sat in a garage for 4 years before i got it i should have expected it really. its just a matter of finding one now!

took the soundproofing up off the drivers and passenger floors and gave them a good clean no sign of any rust on the floors.

still not got the vdos working but they look cool anyway!

bought some mk3 seats for it when i got it for the bargain price of £21 off fleabay and the foam off them fit straight on to the mk2 cl bases it took me an hour to get them done. mint.

then i had the issue of the doorcards dint match the seats, i mean not even nearly! so ebay again for some edition 1 (expensive) doorcards which will suit the seats well as soon as i get chance to fit them.

when i first took it out i gave it a bit of a kicking and when i got back i found id blown a hole in the front valence! it was pretty rusty when we were working on the car and it was said a new one was needed but it could wait. it can wait no more! another ebay parcel on its way.

when i bought the new panel i also went for a mk1 duckbill, seen it done before but i dont know where to start, but iv no time anyway haha!!

might go for a respray in the future and im thinking about getting rid of the grill stripe? opinions?

no interior pics at the mo cause i only hoovered it out today and it was manky before. i will do it when i get the doorcards in.

Just put  a standard one on, particularly if you are going to put some big bumpers on as well.
