what about the footwelll lights?

ive heard its a real pain removing the caseing, i tried but snapped it :)

I'll try if I can get my hands on some OEM ones. My car doesn't have them.

The smaller ones are called peanuts and the longer ones are called tubes.

Is that your 'non-technical' description, 'cause I've never heard them called that!  :evil:  :evil:

As Neo correctly pointed out, your 'tubes' are actually called 'festoon' bulbs, and your 'peanuts' (have you been muching on Noddy Holders Nuts  :wink:  :grin:) are simply called 'capless' bulbs.  Check out this thread for some more bulb names: http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=95565
