That R32 is lush.
That's a MK4 at its best IMO.

Thought someone might say A/C but is it as fast at clearing the windscreen? And did it come as standard on all 1.8T models?
Yes quick
Not standard on any model
I think the 2003 models onwards had Climate control as standard. Most of the post '99 cars had A/C fitted, just some of the first Mk4 GTi's that had no A/C at all.
The pain in the neck is that the Air Con turns off below 5oC. It's the only car I have had that does this....

The thing with A/C to clear the screen is that it needs to stay on to keep it clear too..

Looking on Autotrader found this one:
http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/www/cars/VOLKSWAGEN+GOLF/Ne-2-4-5-6-7-8-27-44-49-53-61-64-67-103-133-146-236,N-10-18-240-4294966995-4294967159/advert.action?R=200850325173973&distance=284&postcode=tr1+1ta&channel=CARS&make=VOLKSWAGEN&model=GOLF&min_pr=2000&max_pr=4000&max_mileage=&vehicleYearOfManufacture=2001&vehicleRegLetter=W
Looks pretty nice although I want to find something closer to home.
