i've got a 2.0L 8v and as said the engine drinks oil, I've got a 30litre drum of oil which i've had since January and its got less than a quarter left with topping up all the time lol

Thought someone might say A/C but is it as fast at clearing the windscreen? And did it come as standard on all 1.8T models?

Not standard on any model cry

I think the 2003 models onwards had Climate control as standard. Most of the post '99 cars had A/C fitted, just some of the first Mk4 GTi's that had no A/C at all.

The pain in the neck is that the Air Con turns off below 5oC. It's the only car I have had that does this....

The thing with A/C to clear the screen is that it needs to stay on to keep it clear too..

Demisting is going to be the least of your worrys when its -2 outside. Its getting the ice off thats the problem.

Iv just made man mess everyone looking at MK4 R32s  embarassed
