Which colour primer?
« on: 09 April 2013, 14:55 »
Having finally found the colour code for my new project (turquoise LB6T) I'll be doing some extensive spray work over the next few weeks.

I'm just wondering whether to use white or grey primer. LB6T is a bright, slightly metallic blue.

I used white on my last red golf.

Is there a rule of thumb with regards to primer?

I generally use white as I think it's easier to see if you miss any parts

could always mix in abit of the colour to white primer so you have coloured primer, you'll need less paint to cover then
