Title: mk4 speedo cable

iv got a mkgolf 1.4 16v, having trouble with speedo cable.... seams to be sticking..can anyone help me, to disconect from gear box........not sure where it is...

Mk4's have electronic speedo's so the cable is literally 3 wires with a multiplug on the end. It ataches to the gear box at the back, to the right hand side of the diff housing.

 If your speedo is sticking, it could be a short somewhere, or the speedo itself is faulty.
