Title: Brake upgrades
Post by: 1982dan on 11 May 2018, 13:14
Hi, thinking of changing brakes discs from standard to vented & drilled (mtec) how do I measure the discs & would I need new calipers if I was to upgrade or would I get away the standard one's?, any help
Would be appreciated before I go ordering parts that won't fit, cheers

What car do you have?

The Mk4 came with a few varieties of disc sizes depending on the model/engine size

What he meant was the 312mm is an upgrade for your car. You need bigger carriers and the 312mm discs to fit them
