Bought a mk6 GTI two weeks ago.
it's a 61 reg with only 14600 miles on the clock!!!
Genuine 3000 miles a year from new with full VW service history.
Previous owner apparently loves the GTI and has bought every model from mk1.
Is in pristine condition. I've done 900 miles in the last two weeks so the mileage is going to go up quickly now.
I traded in a 2014 seat Leon dsg 1.2 as I was just bored with it! Need speed!
Have also got an MR2 Roadster and an RX8. Am retired now and love driving.
The GTI is as fast as the RX8 but has a wide torque range so feels faster. The Rex is more like a motorbike, revs revs revs.
The MR2 handles better than both but without the acceleration, takes 7.2 seconds to get to 60!
