Hullo all,
I ordered my first brand new Golf around six weeks ago.
Its a replacement for my 55 Mk5 TDI which has been faultless since I brought it in Dec '08.

Cant wait......

I need some decent ground clearance because I drive over gravel tracks guite regularly, I also dislike a harsh 'sports' ride, and like to get a move on, when conditions allow. :whistle:

This meant I couldnt have the GTD I wanted because the wheels (and tyres) are ultra low profile and any substitute would have invalidated the warrantee.
So I went for the next best thing;
GTI, 2.0 Match, 150bhp, Manual, Night Blue and Black Leather plus rubber mats all round.
Oh, and five doors to accomodate the in-laws. :smiley:

Going to have it fully detailed, a two day process, and get the dealer to just complete the PDI and allow me to drive it away with the packing covers in place. :huh:

Nice choice. Good call on only letting the dealer do the PDI, and getting the car professionally detailed.

Hope to see pictures in the mk7 section of the forum, when you've got it!
