Title: Original tyres?
Post by: Dougal Cawley on 12 January 2018, 12:18
Hi Team

I believe that Golf GTi fitted the 175/70VR13 Pirelli Cinturato CN36 tyre that we have just had remade by Pirelli. Could someone confirm it.

any pictures would be great, and if you knew what years they fitted them that would be great.

Actually any other information about OE tyres is always very interesting to us.

This is the Mk2 section and the Mk2 GTI never came with 13" wheels. It either had 14" steel or alloy wheels with 185-60-14 tyres, then latterly 15" alloys with 185-55-15 tyres.
