Just logged on a I was like WTF!  On first impressions it seems alright actually and definitely runs faster and smoother.  Like any website changes they always cause an uproar and it'll certainly take some getting used to.
Personally I'll give a try for a couple of days no doubt revert back to the full site, just like I do with every other website I use. I'm just not a massive fan of mobile formatted sites in general.
Good to see the forum isn't getting left behind in development though.

What sort of gadget are you using out of interest?

I don't like mobile formatting either but if I had a pound for each request for an 'app'... I would have a tenner.

Can easily switch between the two versions, no big deal.

Samsung Galaxy S3, always on landscape view so it's as close to using PC as possible.

Yeah nice big resolution on that so the full site looks much better.

When I was testing it, it redirected ipad users straight to the mobile site - looked horrendous!

Suppose the question is whether to turn off all auto-selection and just let people find the link bottom right of the full site?
