No, not for a while :embarrassed: Have had the mark across the rear bumper caused by VW's poor fitting of the bumper protector (ironic!) polished out, that was good.

While I think about it, are there any good leather cleaning wipes or similar? I only have the steering wheel and gear lever gaitor (assuming that actually is leather...) to clean so I didn't really want to get a big bottle of stuff - any recommendations? Thanks.

Baby wipes are useful for odd leather bits. Or you could just use the same as you use on the rest of the interior trim.

I have full leather interior so use Gliptone Leather Cleaner and sometimes the conditioner.  But also always have a spray bottle of their handy spray cleaner to hand which is great. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00B1SX4HG/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1467106414&sr=8-3&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=gliptone+leather+cleaner&dpPl=1&dpID=31RhXgY3z4L&ref=plSrch

Or leather wipes - Gliptone used to do them but not sure if they still do. Perhaps Dr Leather ones https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00DU7LZN6/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1467106477&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=dr+leather+wipes&dpPl=1&dpID=41sHzl-DiyL&ref=plSrch

I've just used a Flash Magic Eraser on my Mk6 steering wheel. They go shiny over time due to the oils that transfer from our hands. Now it's lovely and matt, just like new. I've heard that this should not be done too many times tho', as it can strip the colour dye off eventually.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Can't have too many photos of your work Rebecca!

Did a good wash on mine, today. Very impressed with Wo Wo drying microfibre towels. I have 2 now and I can dry the whole car, fast enough to prevent water marks, even in today's sun, without even wringing one out! Only have to blot the car to suck off the water, so no chance of causing any swirls. Definitely a convert, after a lifetime of using the old chamois leather!
