Title: how rare is mk1 golf gti series 1 in uk

well here is my mk1 golf git I just got from a friend who spent £10k on it I'm just try find out what it worth and is it a rare car

Certainly 'rare', though how you put a scale on that is beyond me. Probably worth 8 to 12k - hard to say really. If you are looking to sell for maximum profit, returning it to pretty much standard would be the way to go.
