Hi i recently purchased a Gti with standard alarm and have found it to be quite nippy and sensitive. Before my neighbours try to kill me i quite fancy removing it from the car. Is it possible to remove it and leave the immobiliser and still have remote central locking and total closure. Or is it possible to just keep the remote central locking and total closure?
Any help would be good as i have no instructions for this alarm and don't fully understand exactly how it works. cheers Jim
