After a few weeks, the dealers 'valeters' applied interior goo is still making the pleather in our Tig shiny. I was hoping it would have worn off by now, but it's still there. What would you recommend to carefully shift this horrible stuff so that I can treat it properly and get it looking and feeling like it should?

Have you tried warm water and detergent (washing up liquid)? And maybe steam cleaning it with a handheld steamer.

I've not tried anything yet. I'm sure the goo is silicone based as it's not dulled one bit. I might have a go with some panel wipe in a discreet area.

Maybe try All Purp Cleaner diluted (1:10) in a sprayer bottle misted onto a MF cloth. I find this works on most interior issues and is detailers short cut as cheap as chips on product. :smiley:

Dodo Juice Supernatural Leather Cleaner works best for me! I have only recently started using this stuff but it works wonders on my interior leather. Also tried it on the case of a vintage pair of binoculars I sold on eBay recently and it brought that up a treat too! Lovely matt finish.

Id have thought panel wipe and an APC would sort it out as its not real leather.
