I gave 1200 for her 1 1/2 years ago. The G/f told me I had to get rid of one (either the Golf or the A3), the Audi went to her suprise.

It had 120k on the clock, electric recaros, Jetta front end, Scorpion exhaust, Audi keyless door handles, dark blue (almost black) coachwork,

and really crap wheels.



First purchase was a set of BBS Split rims. Which need refurbishing, but I may get another set. The second was the stereo, Fosgate, Alpine etc etc.

After get fed up with the continuing clonking noise I decided to look fo a cost effective conversion.
Along came a 16v 2.0l lump for 1020 fitted and in she went. The full spec is -

9a short b;lock 2 litre 16v. gas flowed head, polished rocker cover, 120amp MK3 Alternator with ribbed belt, baffled sump, & windige tray. Kick out 165bhp on Emerald Cams rolling road.

The next stage is being worked out, to be continued! :smiley:

Next thing happening is a timeless number plate, sorting the transfer over now! I was trying to sell it for a friend but she has offered it to me for a good price! :smiley:

16v is now stripped and will be available as a tidy shell. Will be putting it on ebay soon with no rserve. To good to scrap. :cry:
