lads i got a slight issue

right so my decat n downpipe arrived.
so i fitted it all up (by the way are the stubs on the turbo replaceable ? one has sheard off  :embarassed:) stopped all the blows and lovely job. problem i have now got is car has devolepd misfire underload. now is this due to the car over adjusting the fuel leaning it out to compensate for rich gasses ? or the plugs f**ked . or the lamba f**ked . what do you think ?

how much to get ben down to check it mate i just removed the old plugs and they where fubard put a new set of plugs innit and its made it worse (used bosch super 4's)
im starting to feel very disheartend in the car (not you lads your help has been legendary)
was thinking about taking the decat of and puitting the standerd pipe on and if i cant fix it its going back to the dealer (under warrenty till halloween)

I have the day off tomorrow as I have to cover my aerial company due to a lazy younger brother..

I will send Ben down to you tomorrow dinner time if thats ok?  He is due to pick up 8 OME coil packs in the morning, Plus we have an pre cat sensor to test out as well.  Just give him £25 for fuel I have to pay him for the day off, so I will take advantage of him.  Plus he will have is car...  Lots of spare parts..lol

You can bolt a de-cat on without any running problems, The only issue you will get is post cat 02 sensor bringing a fault light up on the dash.
I am sure the miss fire would be down to coil packs or you have damaged the pre cat sensor when un-screwing it from the cat.  Only VAGCOM will tell for sure.  Th offer still standes for tomorrow dinner time, can you leave the key with someone?

i only work 2 seconds down the line so i can drop a key down to him

what would u do pop down clear and check the faults possibley fit a precat lamba then if the precat lamba fixes the issue ill have to go purchase one ??

and what would i owe you ??

Hello,  I not got MSN on this PC, its only on the one in the van,  give Ben a call in the morning and he will give you a time when he can get there.  1st step is to read code from the ecu then we will go from there, try coils and pre cat sensor.

We only use OME\VAG parts but we do get them at trade prices so I will do you the same price.

Ben will have all the tools with him, so if he gets it running ok i will get him to get the file modded to over ride the post cat sensor.
