Wrapping trim

Want to wrap my trim around the radio but I'm unsure on how to remove it or whether I need to at all lol.

I have done a few different car interiors.
Defo remove it all.  Get a good heat gun, sharp scalpal knife and some old tea towels.  Do some test parts or just wrap some random old junk to get a feel for it.  And buy decent wrap, not the cheapest. 
Then post images so we can see it.
