I'm not sure if this appeals to anyone but VW are doing a Facebook competition (and I use the term competition loosely) to be the face of VW's profile picture.
For the trouble of bothering to upload a picture of you with your GTI, they *might* feature you but in uploading the picture you grant license for them to use your image as they like. I'm also amused by their terms and conditions regarding substitution of a prize of equivalent value - substitution in this case translates as 'we won't give you anything'.
I work in advertising and I'm actually embarrassed by this. A couple of GTI t-shirts or a key ring which cost them pennies and represents a token gesture for your trouble would easily have sufficed and might have led people to go to a bit of effort.
