Insurance on the new GTI.....
« on: 18 September 2009, 10:16 »
Hi,
Just thought i'd drop a new post on here about insurance of the new mk 6 GTI.
I'm 26 (Last week) with 3 points & 6 years no claims. I was expecting my insurance to be well over £1000 when i bought the GTI and to my suprise my insurance was just a smidgin over £500 with the company that Iggie pop promotes.

How much has everyone else's insurance been for the new GTI?

£300.  Would be gutted to have to pay some of the silly prices some of you guys pay.

I have a quote of £276, 10+ years NCD, decent postcode, no points, 38 years old.

I almost passed out at reading someone was paying £2100 to insure a Golf!
Hell!
Fair play, your devotion to owning one is more than mine would be.
