both look good anyway, also bottle tops are dirt cheap compared to ra's which is a bonus

yeah they did cross my mind before the RAs... but i want to keep the car as original as it was in the 80s ans since everything else is BBS, i think the wheels should be too.  still think you have a point on the gold theme, asked someone to tsee if they can shop it..

I know.... the car was born with P slots, but when kitted wore Silverstones... RAs cameout late 80-early 90s (mk2 golf) and imo will suit the car better than antthing else right now.

So, not touched the car for 3 weeks as we have had lots to do to the garden/house.. when I have had time the weather is sh*t! I've got a big drive and no garage.  :sad:  I intend to build a car port before winter comes but in the mean time i bought a cheap gazebo... Does the trick, can work under the bonnet and in the car with doors open without getting wet! neighbours say it looks like the start/end of a rally stage.  :grin:
