My OH's Lupo had its MoT last week. The first one in its 17 year life it has failed! Only on the rear exhaust box so not too bad.

This is scary, many people use the MOT to do their roadworthy test every year. Tyres are not checked by people, bulbs are not checked, had carers call into next door neighbours that tyres were on the canvas. I have had people say their car is grinding or knocking and their brake pads are down to the metal or suspension components are hanging off. Expect much more of this happening in a couple of months.
