help on clutch adjustment please

i have too much free play in clutch lever, fitted new power clutch & clutch release bearing but stil too much free play in clutch lever after adjustment.
any help much appr.

I HAVE ADJUSTED AS FAR AS I CAN GO BUT THERE IS NOT ENOUGH THREAD LEFT ON THE ADJUSTMENT, NEW CLUTCH & CLUTCH RELEASE BEARING FITTED, BUT STILL HAVE PROBLEM. IT SEEMS THAT LEVER ARM IS COMING UP TOO FAR! ANY HELP?

If the lever arm is coming up too far then something is wrong.  :(
How far does the lever arm come up before the pushrod contacts the clutch plate?
I have just fitted my gearbox and my lever arm is reaching the horizontal position and then it stops due to the push rod hitting the clutch plate...........thats about right.

I THINK I AM MISSING MAYBE A THICK RUBBER BUSH UNDER THE LEVER TO BRING UP THE SLACK!!??.
LEVER IS SLIGHTLY ABOVE HORIZONTAL
