even thgough ive had me 8v for a while now ive only recently noticed that when the mfa is active theres no display of the engine temp  apart from that every thing else is ok and the proper temp gauge works fine

please help

the wire that attatches to the sensor on the engine is probably damaged loose or not there at all. I think it pluggs in just above the oil filter. not 100% though,  :Dmight take a 50/50 or phone a friend.
