I was not trying to say that mk3's are quicker.  If you read the email properly you would see that I did say mk2's should be quicker, but everyone keeps on that mk2 are sooo much better but still it has yet to be proven that they are sooo much better ;)

Mk3's will have to rust better than a Mk2 if they stand any chance of being quicker. lose that weight fat boy!

We need more of this in fighting between the various Golf breeds....... Hell lets start a war, everyone else is doing it! We could probably even get UN backing for this one. ;D

I am quite willing to abuse other cars.  After all we have the right to we have VWs and golfs even better.  Not saying that my car is slow but, any ideas on how to make it quicker for cheap.

Trade it in for a nice Mk2. :D

Seriously, Cam it, port it, tune it, floor it.

If you want to go the corperate whore way, chip it.

Just a simple question. Are you the type of owner who has a DTM backbox and  Splitfire plugs?  ;)

I have a remus twin square full system and I dont have a clue what you mean by splitfire plugs I presume you mean the spark plugs.  Why do you ask??  Ive already had the nice mk2 but it was to slow so I got myself a mk3.  It was a 1.3l :P

Good call. You should get a good one for around a grand to 1500. But can pay stupid money for a really tidy one. Good luck.
