Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Done few bits and bobs.  Couple of minor cosmetic mods - changed interior lights to LEDs, added new Richbrook GTI tax disc holder, booked it in for 1st service in Sept and renewed insurance (£233)  :cool:

i count myself lucky as she also buys stuff i like and not adverse to a remap, fortunately my wife will never say i want a nissan cashcow or a nissan joke

Fitted my turboback system which i purchased from Raffe, very pleased with it, cant wait to get it mapped now!

Got any sound clips of it yet...I was gonna buy it, just had no idea what it sounded like. Looks sweet though :smiley:

I started it up as it's been sat in the garage for near 3 weeks to see if I could hear any dreaded cam tensioner chain rattle.
I could not but boy do those two fuel injectors in the center of the engine make a knocking noise.

Got all the tar spots off the boot lid tonight, tried Autoglym "Intensive" Tar Remover but it wouldn't touch it? So I ended up claying the thing (not what I had planned for Monday night!) Anyway got the tar off with the clay, polished and sealed it.  Smooth as a baby's arse now  :cool:
