Scratch repair help
« on: 11 January 2011, 22:44 »
Tonight I got back to my car after a 13 hour shift at work and some failed aborsion has keyed the passenger rear quarter. My car is plain black but the scratch is White, it's not down to the metal though, would t cut be the first port of call or would polish and 2000 grit sandpaper and polishing it up work better?

I would give anything to catch the shutbag.

try some scratch remover, i'll have a look what it is i got when i get home today, but it worked wonders when i had some n0b put a massive x on the bonnet of my black 206. It works by taking paint aroudn the area and despositing it over the white scratch effectively. Like i said, will let you know what make it is when i get back home tonight  (y)

probably best to get a touch up pen and fill it in , then polish it so its at the same level , because it sounds like its gone through to the primer if it has it will never polish up
