The way I see it is that the car is cheaper, so better for the business, yes it has a higher co2 but of I can negotiate the difference in cost to the business in fuel then it should be a goer. Seeing as my bro is as big a petrol head as me and the owner of the business, fingers crossed and we'll be sorted.

Missed mine terribly after seeing a CW35 in Derby! 20 months to go and the 330M sport goes back and I think an R will be on order, just wondering whether I can handle 35k miles a year in one?

You have surprised me, I absolutely love my 3 series and love it as a mile muncher with the 330d being my idea of heaven. Did a few long journeys in our old Mk6 GTi and found it quite uncomfortable and cramped by comparison.

Are you not bonding with the car?

Yeah, I just miss owning a VeeDub. I have suggested that an R32 in the garage may be a good idea but her indoors is having nine of it, lol!

What about the Mk2 Neil? That's a far better car for summer weekends and shows surely?
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Been there done that and tbh, I'd miss some of the creature comforts now!

Parked next to an immaculate CW ed35 last week and thought of you and if you might be missing it.

Got rear puncture repaired this morning and the worn front tyre replaced with new, then newest tyres rotated to rear.  Used an independent this time - excellent service, but more importantly, alloys unscathed.  Two punctures in 4 months  fingers crossed, no more.
