Just called into Inchape Bolton as my wife is thinking about changing her A3 for a GTI. They had a VIP event on and they had a gorgeous 5 door manual  Clubsport in Oryx white with Prets and buckets in the showroom.
It was on offer at £33500 or thereabouts.
What a car!
First one I've seen in the flesh and it puts all the other performance Golf's I've seen to shame.
My wife wants one but it needs to be a DSG for her now.
Looks like I'll be the poor relation soon

Give her your GTI so you can have the upgrade you clearly deserve

Don't think I haven't thought about it.
Trouble is, mines a manual so it's not a option.

Bugger. I'm sure your missus will let you wash it for her though! Still, would be nice to have one in the household, my OH won't let go of her 14 year old Lupo. Although that does meet well with my tightwad tendencies

My other option is to talk her out of it and get her to buy a Polo 😀

Obviously I don't know either you or your wife but anyone who is wanting a CS sounds unlikely to settle for a Polo so if you can manage that then perhaps you are the one who can settle the Middle East!

She knows next to nothing about cars, only that some look nicer than others.
I think she is set on a GTI of some sort as long as the colour is nice😀
An oryx white facelift GTI with dsg will probably suit her and if she's happy with that, I won't complain.

That CS was pretty awesome though and I'm no fan of white cars.
