Please say it was a PayPal payment for goods/services and not a gift?

Just looked on the website, and links for many of the items are now passing through to carpartsdirect. Could be a genuine merger/acquisition?

More likely just an "order generation" busniess.  As he has no premises and nowhere for stock, all orders from Gti-bits go to carpartdirect minus commission or margin, I would guess.

You're probably right - it is very detailed compared to some of the robot-generated ones that come up when you click from Google, so there must be some good money in it to make it worth while.

Though obviously not enough money to have a VAT reg number

How did it pan out with the G60 arches?? was gtibits.co.uk a dodgy company?. Did u get your arches eventually? I'm also feeling some serious g60 arch envy and £200 free delivery sounds pretty temping. after reading this thread though it seems unwise.

They were around years back, I seem to remember buying some parts from them. I think for ages the site went missing and then appeared again more recently so there is some more history to the company :)

Probably an order generated business as mentioned.

Just file a claim with paypal and all's good.
