Took her to the local VW dealer to have a squeak fixed, which they did under warranty, yay.

Also washed her, but left lots of water marks (as I'm a noob at washing). So bought some wax and waxed her up good.

Oh and then scraped a lawnmowers wheels along her bonnet, trying to tidy up the garage a bit while she was in it. Won't be doing that again...

Well, at the weekend I went to Wales and bought a correct interior for it. So yesterday I fitted it, fitted a tow bar I got for free off my sister's Ryder, and fitted some 15" P-slots, and bought the correct 7 slot quad light grill for it.
Oh, and found rust. More than I'd like. Along a sill and a door.
So welded a patch on the sill and gave it a lick of Hammerite, which will do until I can afford a proper resto!

Know of any earlier mk2s?

Got my new rear bumper today, about fecking time. Mind you was a pain in the ass to get on, as my tow hoop at the rear is bent, so had to cut into the bottom trim plastic of the bumper to make it fit properly, but it's on now and it's straight, unlike my last one

Also just priming an old badge right now, spraying it Pearl Black for the front grill badge :)
