I can reply in this topic now :smug:

In the last week I have adjusted the ignition timing (feels a bit better now, but wasn't out by much), fitted my head unit and speakers, made up a lights on warning buzzer (forgot to turn them off several times in just over a week of ownership :lipsrsealed:), picked up some tailgate number plate grommets from VW, but forgot to take my v5 slip to get some new plates made up, so will pop back within the next few days.

Up next: Investigate the engine rattle and purchase some new Hella headlamps and spots to replace the current crystals.

Fitted a long over due pollen filter, ordered a new N75 valve to be fitted later in the week.

While fitting pollen filter saw the bulk head was covered in crap.  Pulled out what I could then popped off the arch lining to see the most almighty amount of mud, stones and guff had built up!  Will be doing the off-side when I have a mo.  Deffo something to investigate on your mk4s, if not other VWs!
