spent the last 5 hours trying to work out if i can upgrade my sat nav to version b!!

downloaded a copy of the new firmwear to find i need nero, which has now been downloading for 3hrs. this could work.. or cook the unit  :undecided:

Firmwear upgrade done!!  :grin:

New V4 maps done !!  :grin:

Speed cameras updated!!  :grin:

took off the bumper indicators,reflectors and side repeaters and tinted them with a 10euro tin of black spray paint,bye bye tangerine lenses!JOB DONE!!

Fitted new o/s headlight.  A bit too nice and new and shiny - makes the n/s look sh1te!  The bumper really is so easy to remove, I could have done it all during my lunch break.

Also Silvatec indicator bulbs now fitted to both headlight units, looks fantastic, no more grizzly orange bulbs on show.   :laugh:

Wiring to coil packs is shot to pieces (all fractured and split due to heat from the head), so started to strip down the gubbins from around the head and wiring.  I'm tackling fitment of the overlay repair harness over the next couple of days.  Gulp!  Got the nice Audi TT heat-shield to protect all my hard work too.

Managed to knock off my front arch and sill coming out of a VERY muddy field at the big chill - ooops!

found my k&n sat on my chassis leg due to crappy plastic mounting plate breaking  :cry:
then found a place down road from me who is going to make a me a replacement out of box section & sheet metal  :smiley:

Not a bad effort. Last night my exhaust fell off again, but this time at about 80mph. WOOPS  :laugh:
