Been tidying up the exterior with some new bits and bobs
Tryin to get her lookin tip top (as much as a 23 year old car can  :grin: ) for bugjam. Goin with some tidy campers so got to fight the water cooled corner  :cool:

Sprayed my new front grill after some cnut stole the old one  :sad:

Thought about cleaning it then decided against it and will do it Thursday night instead before Bugjam.

Ill be doing the same  :smiley:

i wouldnt worry about cleaning for bugjam, doubt anyone will notice ya car after 3pm friday  :grin: :laugh:

says you who has just had yours polished?  :rolleyes: :tongue:

Just put the new black front grill on and resprayed the front badge and made a carbon backed resprayed black badge ready to be fitted :wink:


And yes it is real carbon before anyone asks  :smiley:

I spun mine today going round corner after fitting new rear pads little too fast damp road after long dry spell touched brakes and tail end let go full lock into skid no use right round, lucky never hit another car rear tyre hit kerb but no damage done cars stopped in front and behind, had to do three point turn and with a red face and my wifes shouting in my ears drove off.

Changed the fuel filter at last, car idles a bit better now.
Passat B5.5 2.3 V5 170, with all the extras.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.
