How-To - Remove Rear Bumper

Tools:
T25 Torx bit
T30 Torx bit
Ratchet
Parallel punch

1. Remove the rear lights (see guide).
2. Un-plug the rear number plate lights and push the grommet out. Below the passenger side light loom.
3. Remove 3 T25 bolts from each side wheel arch. (If your lowered you may need to jack the rear of the car up to remove the arch lining bolts.)
4. Remove 3 T30 bolts from the underside of the valance.



5. Remove the 2 T30 bolts from where the lights sit.

Red arrow is the T30 bolt and the Blue arrow is the locating rivet



6. Using a punch knock out the center of the locating rivet (see pictures)

7. Use a screw driver to pop the rivet out the hole.
8. Then pull on side out from the wheel arch, followed by the other side and the bumper should pop off.

If you got a sun roof its worth milking the drainage nipples on either side

9. Re-fit is the reversal of the above, but remember to push the number plate wiring through the hole first.
