Yeah to be honest I think 80% of my lifts are rule book defiant but I don't take silly risks and my drive is a little steep in places.  My rule is if there is any doubt, just make sure the car has something to fall on, spare wheels etc.

should be getting hold of another grinder so i can have one set up for metal prep and one for cutting. got a week off after this sat so hopefully the reapir panel turns up this week and i can make a start on sunday! :evil:

I've got one!.. on the roof of my car though so you can't have it, will have a look about for you though... Really glad this is finally going to kick off!  :smiley:

managed to do a little work on the car today  (although rain stopped play! :angry:) got the wing and door off. offerd up the repair sill i got from crazy quiffs and it looks pretty good.(i ordered only the rhs sill but i got 2 sills, one is correct but i have no idea what the other one is?!? it says 4dr on it but def wouldnt fit! :laugh:)









have now got the rhs up on wheel ramps so i can get underneath with the grinder  :smiley:

yea long overdue chuff!

anyone know whats the best tool to undo the allen head bolts on the rear door as a normal allen key doesnt do the job. its 6mm iirc.

I'd say leave the engine alone for now.
