Hope it's gone to a loving home.

Roll on the arrival of the R.  I hope you'll let us have a detailed review of it once you've got to grips with it.

it has gone to a dealer who specialises in GTIs, given the settlement reached on my R i have a vested interest in picking up the R as soon as possible :)

Drove it out of necessity for the first time in ages and realised that it has got too many pedals.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Lifted my bonnet to check oil, washers & empty catch can only to find that the foam element of my Revo cone filter had come apart and fell off
Made a call to the supplier and another one is on it's way under warranty, so if you've got one of these fitted best keep an eye on it ?

Yes that's how I found it aswell ! Didn't even touch it before I'd took the pic, don't know how long it's been like that as I haven't had the bonnet up for about a month
