I've been looking all over the place trying to find a 86-70mm reducer but can't find any. I've read that a 80mm would do the job but will be very tight indeed.
Is it worth digging deeper to get the 86mm or will the 80mm be ok. As I've never held a s2k filter I don't know if I would end up breaking the connector end with brute force trying to squeeze an 80mm onto it.

more than likely end up braking it mate, there solid plastic :/

JS performance. Ring up. Ask for 70-86mm silicone coupler.

Where did you buy yours from dom , and when you say trim it back.... Do you mean trim it down in the length or trim the inside so you could get the filter inside ?

Cut a bit off the end I would assume to make it shorter.

From what I can tell the red/black ones seem to be oiled where the green/white ones aren't

I got this one:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290578527742?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

I trimmed some of the length off it, if I hadn't the filter wouldn't have fit inside the wing

I've got a red / black s2000 filter, never fitted, £10 collected if anyone wants it. I know it's not classified but I'm sure someone wants it on here
