1/4 mile drag running???
« on: 23 November 2003, 15:52 »
right so weve asked about the trackdays and got a bit of interest, i used to drag race motorbikes at east kirkby areodrome, was wondering how many peeps would be up for thrapping there golfs in a straight line??, if enough interest i could find out about hire charges timing gear charges etc, when i used to do it on a bike it was about ?5 to watch, ?10 to register to run, then as many runs as you could fit in in the day for that money!, think it would be a laugh as done some car draggin at santapod years ago in me camper (for a laugh) and me old rs turbo escort, for those that dont wanna bin it round a track this is a good go at trying the iline my cars faster than yours type thing!!!, let us know what ya think!!!! if enough intrest as said will try and sort out prices etc, ( there would also be st johns on standby, burger van etc and mobile toilets)
