:oFriend of mine took arches off first you find a line where arch has been or evidence of repaint! This needs polishing. You will now have rivet holes on inner arch lip that need filling, you now need to obtain cl side strips as others are part of arch.Across bottom of doors you need to pull off trim then fixing plate which is bonded on and takes HOURS to get residue off!First thing that hits you is car looks higher cos arches dont come down as far as plastic ones, coilovers are a must!Looks good if done well but couldnt believe how much vw charge for cl side strips approx 200quid!Well worth trying g@s or euro car as scrappies are getting wise to this now-my friend paid 100quid for some scabby ones which came up okay after repaint. After all this i decided to keep mine on as most people are taking theirs off!!Hope this info helps!!
