I'm not too sure what you're talkin about?? Do you mean when you drive somewhere, and the average MPG goes up, then when you turn off the car the average figure resets to zero?

Mine tends to save the average figure for a little while, but it does reset.

On your comp there will be a number 1 or 2 in the screen, if you press the button on the bottom of your stalk then it will change from 1 to 2 and so on.

1 of the modes resets everything if you dont get in the car for 2 hours, the other keeps a permenant memory until u mannually reset.

Hop this makes sense :undecided: if not just look for the button on the underside of your right hand stalk, press it and all will become clear

GAZB is spot on. Its all to do with the button on the underneath of right stalk. 1 is for current travel (i.e last few hours) and 2 is overall. It can go upto as much as you want until reset. Im sure my previous mk4 didt reset at all unless reset by me, whereas my current mk resets after a few hours! So theres nothing to worry about.
