Title: First track day on Wednesday - anything I've missed?
Post by: AdamR on 11 October 2010, 16:25
Hi guys,

Booked myself a half-day at Oulton Park on Wednesday and already excited, but want to make sure I haven't overlooked anything...

I've read that I'll need:

- Full tank of fuel
- Can of fuel for top ups (as fuel starvation can happen even at approx half a tank full?)
- At least one spare wheel/tyre
- Set of brake pads
- Oil
- Tools, the more the better? Worth taking trolley jack etc?
- Food & drink

Anything else you guys would recommend?

Many thanks in advance!
Adam

yep take trolley jack and axle stands just in case

tyre pressure gauge and pump are quite important, more so in the summer but its worth checking the pressures everytime you come in and experimenting with what you like the feel of, as well as adjusting as they warm up and pressure rises
